Mt Timothy Overview
Mount Timothy Ski Area is a volunteer based, non-profit society run ski area in Western Canada. This family-oriented ski hill is like a credit union for snow riders. Every person that purchases a season pass becomes a member of the Mount Timothy Ski Society. All of the profits of the hill stay with the mountain and in the community. That sounds like a good investment to us!
Since 1988 Mt Timothy has been a community focused ski hill, and it shows. Ski and race programs for young people, over a thousand hours of community volunteer service and regional energy efficiency grants are all a part of every day life at Mt Timothy.
Like many community ski hills, Mt Timothy relies on countless hours of community volunteers and financial support as well. Consider showing Mt Timothy that you think they are Super Awesome by sending some money their way. Visit and spend $50 (adult weekend) on a lift ticket or just make a donation. The little ski hills are one of the things that make Winter so amazing and supporting them does magical things for your soul.
Self described as “unhurried, unworried”, Mt Timothy is the perfect spot to enjoy family skiing at a more enjoyable pace than any mega-resort.
