Porcupine Mountain Ski Area, “The Porkies”, is a family ski area near the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The ski hill offers downhill skiing, telemark skiing and snowboarding. Activities also include snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, lantern lit snowshoeing, snowmobiling and more. The Porkies is all about family recreation and family fun.
We are trails and views that get kids outdoors and away from the Internet, away from the airwaves. We are something you do, not something you watch. We are skiing and snowshoeing and snowmobiling and snowball fights with your little sister. We are a day full of promise and a night full of stars. We are natural snow and natural lighting.
